The Accord governorship candidate expressed displeasure over the rift within the corridors of power in the state, noting that it is extremely disheartening, the damage done to the legislative chambers of the Rivers State House of Assembly.

Chief Lulu-Briggs said the political instability at a time when the people are going through difficult economic situation, will only worsen their situation, saying that what Rivers people need at the moment are interventions that will bring succor to their daily lives.

He warned that all parties in the crisis should be guided by the pursuit of the common good, insisting that the legislative chambers should be a place to ensure justice is pursued and constitutional principles are adhered to.
