The gang of kidnappers had embarked on an operation along Abuja-Lokoja highway, around Koton-Karfe Local Government Area before they were arrested.
The suspects were identified as HARUNA SALEH, KABIRU SHAIBU, ABDULMUMINU ADAMU and TUKUR SHUIABU.
A statement released by the Kogi State Command of DSS said the suspects were among a total of ten persons who were arrested in the state for various criminal activities over the past six weeks.
The statement also listed recovered items to include three pairs of Army Camouflage uniforms; as well as two firearms and seven Pump Action cartridges.
