Correspondent UCHENDU EJIOWHOR reports that the panel visited Khana, Gokana and Tai local Government areas all in Rivers South East Senatorial District.
The commission was said to have visited St Pius College in Bodo city in Gokana Local Government of the state where an agent of the People’s Democratic Party was allegedly shot dead during the election.
A resident teacher in the school who claimed to have witnessed the incident narrated his experience to the commission.
Also speaking, one DOMINIC BARA who is said to be the father in-law to the deceased alleged that some men in security uniform shot sporadically and carted away ballot boxes.
Another victim who identified herself as BAGA DAA also alleged that she was shot on the leg by security operatives at unit five ward seventeen in Gokana Local Government area on the Election Day.
Our correspondent also reports that the commission of inquiry was also at a mortuary where the corpse of one late IKPE who was allegedly shot dead was deposited.
