Justice ADOLPHUS ENEBELI of the State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has also fixed 14th of December for ruling on the matter instituted by LIVINGSTONE WECHIE.

Our correspondent VICTOR EZEAMA reports that Justice ENEBELI fixed the date for ruling after parties involved in the matter adopted their final written addresses.

In his final submission, KINGSLEY CHUKU, who is counsel to LIVINGSTONE, cited section Ninety-Four of the 1999 Constitution as basis upon which the court should give its ruling on the matter.

Similarly; ZACHEAUS ADANGOR who is representing the Rivers State House of Assembly, argued that it was not enough for VICTORIA NYECHE to refer to herself as a member of the House of Assembly simply by winning election in her constituency.

However; AHAM EKEJELAM who is the lawyer to the APC Member-elect, insisting that his client committed no crime by using the letterhead of the State House Assembly since she contested and won her election and was issued certificate of return by the electoral commission.

Before the adjournment; Justice ADOLPHUS ENEBELI commended the lawyers for helping to ensure speedy consideration of the matter
