The court presided over by Justice SIMON AMOBEDA denied bail to JALINGO who is being arraigned on four count charges of treasonable felony, terrorism and attempt to topple the Cross River State Government.
Justice AMOBEDA held that the charges against the Journalist were grave with one, carrying a capital punishment.
JALINGO was arrested and is being prosecuted for publishing a report exposing how Governor of Cross River state, Professor BEN AYADE allegedly approved and diverted five hundred million naira meant for Cross River State Microfinance bank.
