Condemnations have continued to trail the murder of a traditional ruler in Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State by suspected gunmen.
A stakeholder in the area, Dr. Sampson Ngerebara, described the killing as a sacrilege to the people of Andoni and the traditional institution.
Ngerebara urged the council chairman to intensify efforts to ensure that those responsible for the crime are apprehended and brought to justice.
Also speaking, another concerned indigene of Andoni Local Government Area, Dickson Otobolong, appealed to the Rivers State Government and security agencies to unravel those behind the murder of King Alfred Etete Otugot Otobo-Alama.
Otobolong made the appeal during a condolence visit to the family of the late monarch.
