Complaints of violence trails ongoing election campaign in Zambia.

The complaint is being fueled by a video circulated on the social media in Zambia showing an opposition campaign bus being attacked.

The incident involving the campaign vehicle of the party of HAKAINDE HICHILEMA happened two days to presidential election on Thursday.

Supporters of the governing Popular Front are alleged to have carried out the attack, as people were seen throwing stones at the bus.

The Popular Front has released a statement condemning the violence; adding that it was treating this matter very seriously.

The party also called on the police to get to the bottom of what it described as senseless inter-party fights.
