Our correspondent reports that shops and market were closed while the people stormed the East West road through Buru-tai road to jubilate the result which favoured the All Progressive Congress, APC. Some jubilants who spoke to newsmen at the event commended INEC for towing the part of truth by accepting the result from Tai which they claim was properly voted. Addressing the people at APC secretariat in the area, the candidate of the party for Tai, Eleme, Oyigbo federal constituency, BARRY MPIGI dismissed reports that Tai election was cancelled, stressing that the elections was merely suspended and not cancelled as being speculated by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
