South-South Chairman of CLO, CARL CHINEDU disclosed during a media briefing in Port Harcourt that he was aware of moves in some quarters to grant bail to FLAG-AMACHREE.
CARL CHINEDU particularly picked-holes in the new Appeal Court panel that was set-up to hear the bail application of the accused APC chieftain.
The CLO leader also questioned the action of the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice ZAINAB BULKACHUWA in setting up the new Appeal Panel.
The Zonal Chairman of CLO, CARL CHINEDU said the group will explore the necessary options to ensure that OJUKAYE is properly prosecuted within the ambits of the Law.
OJUKAYE FLAG-AMACHREE is facing a two count charge of conspiracy and murder, and he was denied bail by Justice MARGARETA OPARA of the High Court in Port Harcourt.
