The FFS spokesperson, Ugo Huan, who confirmed the appointment in a statement, said Samson will take over from Liman Ibrahim, the outgoing controller-general who was appointed on March 29, 2019.
Speaking on the appointment, Samson expressed appreciation to the president and minister of interior, Rauf Aregbesola for the privilege to serve, while promising to carry all officers of the agency along to sustain discipline and enable proper discharge of duties.
