The occasion was the public presentation of a book in honour of President BUHARI, which was attended by dignitaries from all walks of life.
The book written by an American professor of international studies, JOHN PADEN was presented by APC national leader, ASIWAJU BOLA TINUNU at the International Conference Center.
Our correspondent reports that the book entitled “Muhammadu Buhari; The Challenges of Leadership in Nigeria” provides an in-depth appraisal of the policies and actions of the Nigerian leader.
In his remarks; former Military Head of State, General YAKUBU GOWON said President BUHARI was on a national assignment.
Also speaking; former President, OLUSEGUN OBASANJO, who was one of the keynote speakers, recommended the book to those who want to know more about Nigeria and President BUHARI on a platform of history.
In a vote of thanks; President BUHARI expressed his appreciation for the support he has enjoyed from friends both at home and abroad.
Other dignitaries at the Buhari Book presentation included President MAHAMADOU ISSOUFOU of Niger Republic and President, IDRISS DÉBY of Chad.
