This was confirmed by the President of the Rivers State chapter of the National Union of Local Government Employees, FRANKLYN AJINWO.
Following the development, FRANKLYN AJINWO assured of NULGE’s support the chairmen of the caretaker committees of all the local government council across the state.
AJINWO told our correspondent CHINDEU IWUNNA that members of NULGE are happy about the payment of their outstanding salaries by the newly sworn in local council chairmen.
He said the development was not unconnected with the charge given to the council chairmen during their inauguration by Governor NYESOM WIKE.
