At least one hundred and fifty suspected Al-Shabaab militants have been killed in air strikes carried out by United States forces in Somalia.
The Pentagon, which is the headquarters of the US military, made this known in a statement by its spokesman, Captain JEFF DAVIS.
He said the strike hit a training camp where a large-scale attack was being planned against US and African Union forces.
Captain JEFF DAVIS said available information revealed that the militants were going to be departing the camp to execute their plot.
