Justice Phoebe Ayuwah of a federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt had ruled that Legborsi Yamabana lacks the locus Standi to approach the court having not participated in the PDP primaries for the Khana-Gokana federal constituency, insisting that the plaintiff was not able to prove his case of unlawful exclusion.

Legborsi Yamabana having expressed dissatisfaction with the judgment, appealed against it, which came up before a three man panel led by Rilwanu Abdullahi.

Today FM’s Uchendu Ejiowhor reports that when the matter came up for mention, counsels to the parties regularized their process, before the three man panel adjourned till 24th of November, 2022 for hearing and possible adoption of addresses.

Speaking to newsmen outside the court, Counsel to Legborsi Yamabana, Frimagbo Walmate narrated in details what transpired in court.

On his part, Legborsi Yamabana said he decided to pursue the appeal as part of the fulfillment of his promise to young people to ensure justice on the alleged unlawful exclusion and to restore his mandate.
