The latest ruling stems from an earlier judgment delivered by Justice Stephen Daylop-Pam of the federal High court, bothering on preliminary objections on the name of the party in the substantive suit and the arguments of the PDP on the issue of joinder.
The three man appeal panel led by Justice Gabriel Kolawole in their decision, dismissed the appeals on the grounds that it lacked merit.
Justice KOLAWOLE while delivering the judgment agreed on some of the grounds on which the Accord approached the court, but aligned himself with the rulings of the Federal High court.
You may recall that last month a Federal High court in Port Harcourt gave two rulings against the Accord in the matter instituted by the PDP in Rivers State, challenging the competency of the party to field National and State House of Assembly candidates.
