The spokesman of APC, Darlington Nwauju was reacting to an attack by suspected hired hoodlums against a young man who was said to be distributing campaign posters of the Presidential Candidate of the PDP in Omuma.
The unidentified young man is said to be battling with his life in the hospital after some hired thugs yesterday, used machete and other dangerous weapons to inflict injuries all over his body.
Nwauju in an interview with newsmen in Port Harcourt tasked the new commissioner of Police to join forces with security agencies to focus on Omuma Local Government where he said has been a flash point for politically motivated violence in the last five years.
