The State Caretaker committee Chairman of APC, Chief Tony Okocha in a letter, prayed the President to direct relevant allocation authorities in the distribution of palliative that may come to Rivers state in future to be sent through the FCT Minister.
According to the letter sighted by Today fm correspondent, the APC in the Rivers State under the leadership of Okocha also wants the President to direct governor Siminalayi Fubara to take nominations from both sides in setting up committee for the distribution of palliative.
The letter also commended the president for his effort in tackling the economic challenges and growing the economy, sighting a report by the International Monetary Fund, IMF and the National Bureau of Statistics, NBS showing that the country’s GDP was improving.
