The Chairman of Andoni Local Government Area, Lucky Otuo, has announced an increase in stipends for corps members serving in the area as well as for council workers.
Speaking at the council headquarters in Ngo, Mr. Otuo acknowledged the challenges faced by National Youth Service Corps members and assured that his administration would also renovate key infrastructure at the council secretariat. He further pledged to provide stable electricity supply in Ngo and adjoining communities before the end of December this year.
With less than one month in office, a cross-section of residents in Andoni has commended Chairman Otuo for the positive impact of his administration so far.
Meanwhile, the free feeding welfare package earlier announced by the Andoni LGA chairman is expected to take off today.
