This was made known by the Anambra State Commissioner of Police, GARBA BABA UMAR, during a media briefing on preliminary investigations into the incident.
C.P UMAR said the police findings so far suggest that the shooting at Saint Philip Catholic Church, Amakwa at Ozubulu, in Ekwusigo Local Government Area is as a result of a dispute between two individuals who from the community but live overseas.
The Commissioner of Police disclosed that one of the parties in the dispute built the church were the shooting occurred, but failed to mentioned names, saying it was premature at the moment.
He assured that the police command under his watch would do everything possible to bring the perpetrators to justice.
