Correspondent ELFREDAH ALERECHI who visited the community reports that a month after the fire incident, the victims were still stranded, hoping for government intervention.
Some of the victims who spoke including a nursing mother recounted how the incident have caused her hard times.
Community Development Committee chairman of Dic-Fiberesima Ama, ASIME KALIO and other leaders of the community told our correspondent that neither has the member representing the Okrika LGA in the RSHA, LINDA STEWART nor the Okrika LGA chairman, PHILEMON KINGOLIN has visited the community.
Our correspondent observed that Dic-Fiberesima Ama which was formerly known as I-kpu-ku-lu is not only suffering from fire incidents but has no Health Center and has only a primary school.
Meanwhile, the commissioner for Special Duties, THOMAS BARIERE has denied knowledge of any official letter as regards the fire outbreak in Dic-Fiberesima Ama.
BARIERE told correspondent ELFREDAH ALERECHI on telephone that the community was to call the ministry fire emergency number during the outbreak.
