Algeria Parliamentary 2017 Polls kicks off.

The government of President ABDELAZIZ BOUTEFLIKA expects that a strong turnout would help to stabilize the country. 

But reports say there is little sign of enthusiasm among voters, many of whom have become disillusioned by what they see as a failure to keep promises to bring about economic growth.
