Activist says lack of seriousness contributing to climate change issues

Fyneface in an interview with Today FM’s Olawale Sanusi said the Federal Government cannot say it is fighting to reduce hydro carbon emission when it has failed to properly implement the Paris agreement and other international climate agreement.

He said the Paris Agreement which was signed in September 2016 and ratified in March 2017, to enable the country achieve its 2050 Long-Term Low Emission Vision is shaky as the country still cannot find a tangible solution to the issue of gas flaring and artisanal refineries operating in Niger Delta.

While commending the government for ratifying the Paris agreement, Fyneface said there is still much to do to ensure that the year 2050 low emission target is met.
