About eight persons have been killed, while thirty others sustained injuries in the crisis that erupted in Wukari kingdom in Taraba state. The crisis erupted following the judgment of the election tribunal which sacked DARIUS ISHAKU as governor of the state and declared AISHA ALHASSAN, of the All Progressive Congress as winner of the election on 11th of April. Former vice-chairman of Wukari local government council, TANIMU DANLELE gave the figures to newsmen. State Police Public Relations Officer, JOSEPH KWAJI said normalcy has returned to the area.
