Senator Abe spoke when he met members of Farmers Association in the state during which he promised to ensure that his commissioner for agriculture must be knowledgeable about farming.
The SDP candidate insisted on the need to punish people who lie on government documents which he said is one of the ways to ensure good governance.
Speaking earlier on behalf of the farmers, Akandu Godwin decried high level of neglect by the state government.
