The SDP governorship candidate also accused security agencies of collaborating with the ruling Peoples Democratic Party to arrest members of the opposition in the state.
Abe, further expressed worry that nothing is being done by relevant authorities to put an end to the attacks which he said might affect the forthcoming elections.
In response, the River State Commissioner of Information and Communications, Chris Finebone,dismissed Abe’s allegation, stressing that the Rivers state government abhors violence of any kind.
