A Magistrate Court in Port Harcourt has ordered three suspected kidnappers to be remanded in prison. ALAGBE DIMKA, OTOM ABEG and JUNIOR KADOM were accused of kidnapping individuals for ransom in Obio-Akpor Local Government area of Rivers state. However; Chief Magistrate I.F. IYABO said the court lacks jurisdiction to hear the matter and transferred the case file to the Director of Public Prosecution.
Our correspondent reports that the matter has been adjourned till the twentieth of this month.
