A general court martial has been set up to try soldiers of the Special Task Force operating in Plateau and Bauchi states, which is code-named Operation Safe Haven.The military task force was set up to maintain peace across the two states, but its personnel have been accused of violations in the course of discharging their duties.The Task Force Commander, Major General TAGBO UDE, said the nine-member court martial is intended to maintain discipline in the Nigerian Military.Major General UDE said members of the court marital headed by Colonel BADEBO were carefully chosen to ensure that justice is done.
Meanwhile; the court martial for Operation Safe Haven in Plateau and Bauchi states will begin work with cases involving three military personnel.
