The State Governor, BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU, gave the order during a statewide address monitored from Port Harcourt.
SANWO-OLU also reiterated that all measures are being put in place to curb the spread of the virus while urging residents to maintain the social distancing culture.
The governor however, noted that the medical personnel, fire service and other essential services were not affected be the directive.
Meanwhile, SANWO-OLU stressed that all those who have just returned from foreign trips must self-isolate for fourteen days to be sure that they are free of the virus.
