The directive comes as the nationwide strike over the demand for an increase of the national minimum wage from eighteen thousand naira to fifty-six thousand naira enters its second day.
The President of the Medical and Health Workers Union, BIOBELEMOYE JOSIAH, told journalists in Abuja that the current APC Administration appears to dislike taking care of the welfare of workers.
JOSIAH expressed displeasure over the delay of the new minimum wage, stressing that the ruling class would rather want to continue with the exploitation of the working class through payment of what he called slave wage.
The union leader encouraged members to join the struggle until they receive further directives from the leadership of organised labour.
