Rivers State Government Battles Lawsuit before National Industrial Court between Rivers State Primary Healthcare Management Board and Local Government Service Commission.

The Local Government Service Commission is seeking to stop the Rivers State Government from transferring the salaries of Primary Healthcare Workers from the commission to the Primary Healthcare Management Board.
You will recall that the matter has been a source of controversy for several months following which a committee headed by Governor NYESOM WIKE was set up to address the issue.
Our correspondent CHINEDU IWUNNA gathered that the Governor had subsequently directed that the transfer be implemented in line with the Primary Healthcare law, the directive was not followed.
