Rivers State Government Push for Removal of Commander SARS

In the same manner; the main opposition All Progressives Congress in the state is also not giving up in trying to defend itself against accusations of complicity in alleged wrongdoings by SARS operatives in Rivers State.
The latest development is against the backdrop of a media briefing in Port Harcourt by the Commissioner of Information and Communications, EMMA OKAH, where he challenged AKIN FAKOREDE to defend himself against sundry allegations of wrongdoings.
OKAH alleged that FAKOREDE was running the armed wing of the APC in Rivers State, adding that his mission is to rig elections conducted in the state in favour of APC.
However; the State Publicity Secretary of APC, CHRIS FINEBONE said the party stands for change and cannot use the security agencies the same way the PDP did when it was still in power at the Federal level.
