The Catholic bishop in the Central African Republic, JUAN JOSÉ AGUIRRE MUNOZ said the refugees cannot leave the seminary’s compound in the south-eastern city of Bangassou for fear of being attacked by the anti-Balaka militias.
The revelation comes after the United Nations humanitarian chief warned last week of possible genocide in the troubled country, as violence continues to intensify.
