The President’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam GARBA SHEHU, confirmed the telephone conversation in a statement circulated to media houses.
SHEHU said President BUHARI condemned the attack, which he described an appalling crime against humanity and unspeakable sacrilege.
BUHARI said there was no justification whatsoever to target Church worshippers and kill them in cold blood.
He expressed sympathy with families of the victims, the Church leadership and the government of Anambra.
