1 dead as huge fire sweeps across Syrian refugee camp in Lebanon.

Reports say the huge fire broke out at the camp near Qab Elias town in the Bekaa Valley, where some one hundred and two families are taking shelter, out of one million registered Syrian refugees in Lebanon.

The AFP news agency reports that seven hundred refugees were evacuated from the camp by the Lebanese Red Cross, as the flames took hold.

DANA SLEIMAN from the office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees said it is thought the fire was caused by a cooking stove.
