FRSC Corps Marshal, BOBOYE OYEYEMI, issued the recall order following public shaving of the hair of some officers of the Rivers State Command.
Our correspondent gathered that KUMAPAYI had yesterday carried out a general inspection on the staff of the FRSC in Port Harcourt where he publicly shaved the hair of some female officers.
Reacting to the development, the Head of Media Relations and Strategy of the FRSC, BISI KAZEEM said the Corps Headquarters was shocked at the action of the Rivers State Sector Commander.
KAZEEM confirmed that the Corps Marshal has set up a committee to investigate ANDREW KUMAPAYI, adding appropriate actions would be taken if he is found guilty.
BISI KAZEEM however noted that members of staff of the FRSC are not allowed to grow long hairs as stated in its regulations.
