It has been alleged that the company awarded the consultancy contract for the Port Harcourt Monorail project received only six hundred million naira for its services. MICHEAL DIDON who is the lawyer to Arcus Gibb Limited made the revelation against the backdrop of media reports claiming that the company was paid twenty-two point nine billion naira for the project. DIDON told the Commission of Inquiry sitting in Port Harcourt that his client received the six hundred million naira payment from the state Ministry of Transport. He explained that the twenty-two point nine billion naira expended by the Ministry of Transport covered payments to other contractors handling different aspects of the project.
