Our correspondent gathered that a yet-to-be identified taxi driver was hit around Ogbogoro Market Junction, as some policemen fired indiscriminate gunshots.
A source from the community who confirmed the incident, said men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad stormed the area, shooting sporadically, which forced many residents to scamper for safety.
He said the SARS operatives drove off when the community youth rushed out to intervene in the situation.
