Ohanaeze Ndigbo calls for unified front in engaging negotiations with FG.

The leadership of Ohaneze also urged the Federal Government to pay attention to the challenges facing the Igbo nation, just as it appealed to pro-Biafra agitators to have a rethink about their current secession campaign.

The President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Chief JOHN NWODO made the calls while addressing newsmen in Port Harcourt after a meeting with some traditional rulers and government officials in Rivers State.

Chief NWODO observed that the failure by the Federal Government to address challenges facing the Igbos was helping to fuel the pro-Biafra agitation.

He lamented that most of the mineral resources in the South East have been neglected by the government, which has in turn denied the region the benefit of resources for development.

Chief NWODO further observed that resources from other mineral deposits that are being exploited in the South-East are being used to enrich people of other regions.

The President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo also called the Igbo investors to think of channeling their resources to the region to help develop the land.
