Justice ONNOGHEN is currently holding the position of Chief Justice of Nigeria in an acting capacity for a period of three months, which would elapse less than three weeks from now.
Following the development; a Port Harcourt-based lawyer, LEDUM MITEE, has warned that the situation could spark crisis of confidence against the administration of President MUHAMMADU BUHARI.
LEDUM MITEE told our correspondent VICTOR EZEAMA that the intention of President BUHARI could be misunderstood by members of the public because of multi-ethnic structure of the country.

He was first appointment to the position on 10th of November last year, after weeks of wild speculations.
