State Chairman of the ULC, ADAH WILLIAMS said the council was yet to officially write to the State Government for proper recognition.
Speaking in an interview with our correspondent CHINEDU IWUNNA, the labour leader also said the state council of the ULC would be inaugurated before the end of February.
The Rivers State Chairman of the United Labour Congress also called on the Federal government to address the demand of the National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers to avert an indefinite strike that could shutdown the Nigerian economy.
