This comes after the inauguration of members of Board to oversee the implementation of the Report of the United Nations Environment Programme for the cleanup of oil spills in Ogoni land.
The Environment Minister said funds have been released for the provision of water and other basic requirements before the actual cleanup operations can begin.
AMINA MOHAMMED, who gave this indication at an event in Port Harcourt, said various companies that are taking part in the cleanup operations have been engaged.
