To this end, the people of Rivers State, particularly those of Ikwerre extraction, are being called upon to come out and give their last respects to the celebrated author of “The Concubine”.
The Ikwerre Language Literary and Arts Association led by RUSKIN AMADI also enjoined the student community to ensure that the late author is buried peacefully at his hometown of Mbodo-Aluu in Ikwerre Local Government Area.
The group also commended Rivers State Governor NYESOM WIKE and the Minister of Transport, ROTIMI AMAECHI for their support towards highlighting the contributions of late Captain ELECHI AMADI to the growth of education.
