APC fingers south south PDP stalwarts as forces behind allegations by Okoro,Nguta against Amechi.

Those mentioned in alleged move to pull down ROTIMI AMAECHI are all serving political office holders drawn from Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Delta states.

One of the four persons alleged to have influenced the claims that AMAECHI attempted bribe Justices SYLVESTER NGUTA and INYANG OKORO, is currently serving in the National Assembly as a Senator.

According to a statement released by Rivers APC Chairman, the party alleged that the PDP bigwigs advised the Apex Court Justices to drag AMAECHI into their arrest and investigation by the Department of State Services.

Chief IBIAMU IKANYA said the PDP chieftains initiated the move in a bid to muddle the waters, divert media and public attention from the corruption allegations against the judges and make their arrest and investigation look like a political vendetta.

The maintain substance of the APC’s allegation is the fact that Justices OKORO and NGWUTA of the Supreme Court cited Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Delta states governorship election appeals in their claims against AMAECHI.
