Fireworks gone bad as Delhi battles to deal with smog left after Dewali celebrations.

Reports say the annual celebrations saw the use of huge quantities of fireworks, which gave rise to more than ten times the safe limits of particulate matter in the air.

Before the celebrations; the authorities had warned that Delhi faced a polluted Diwali because of humidity and wind speed but the warning was ignored.
