Controversy on FG Amnesty Programme for Niger Delta ex-agitators not in sight.

Briefing newsmen in Port Harcourt, a group of Amnesty beneficiaries who claimed to belong to Chief ATEKE TOM’s camp criticized alleged payment of forty thousand naria  only as monthly stipends by their leaders.

JEFF MICHEAL who spoke on behalf of other beneficiaries wondered why they should be short paid against the stipulated sixty-five thousand naira approved by the Federal Government.

MICHEAL called on the state and Federal Governments to intervene to end the controversy which he said would help sustain peace in the state.

Meanwhile; the leadership of Chief ATEKE TOM’s camp is yet to react to the allegation.
