However; members of some cult groups and criminal gangs are yet to enlist in the programme and surrender their arms and ammunition.
Such unrepentant cultists and criminals are still causing problems around Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local Government Area which already accounts for most of the arms and ammunition so far mopped by the amnesty committee.
The Chairman of the Amnesty Committee, KENNETH CHINDA gave this indication during a media briefing yesterday.
There are indications that some of the criminal and cult groups are demanding monetary reward as a condition to embrace amnesty and surrender their arms.
However; KENNETH CHINDA maintained the stance of the Rivers State Government that would be no financial compensation repentant criminals.
The Chairman of the State Amnesty Committee also gave a breakdown on the level of implementation of the programme in Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local Government Area.
