The lawmaker from Kano State bagged one hundred and eighty legislative days suspension for failing to appear before the House Committee on Ethics and Privileges.
JIBRIN had been referred to the Ethics Committee for investigation over his allegation of Budget Padding against the Speaker, YAKUBU DOGARA and four other principal officers.
He had vowed not to appear before the Ethics Committee unless in the presence of the media, and today, the Committee headed by NICHOLAS OSSAI turned in its report, recommending his suspension.
