England Edge Norway After Extra Time to Reach World Cup Semi-finals

England have booked their place in the semi-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup after defeating Norway 2-1 after extra time in a thrilling quarter-final clash.

Norway took the lead in the first half through Andreas Schjelderup, but England responded before the break as Jude Bellingham scored the equaliser to level the contest.

With both sides unable to find a winner in regulation time, the match went into extra time, where Bellingham struck again to complete his brace and secure England’s place in the last four.

The victory sends England into the World Cup semi-finals, where they will face Argentina as they continue their quest for a first FIFA World Cup title since 1966.
