Sec.of National Assembly,ECOWAS pledged commitment to work together to strengthen legislative activities for development of West African sub region.

TheClerk to National Assembly, Alhaji MOHAMMED SANI-OMOLORI and the Secretary-General of the ECOWAS Parliament, MAGBEGBOLA NELSON, gave this indication during a meeting in Abuja.

Our correspondent JAMES IGAH reports that both Alhaji SANI-OMOLORI and MAGBEGBOLA NELSON agreed that quality legislation across West Africa would help to deepen democracy and promote good governance in the region.

The interaction happened when the ECOWAS Parliamentary scribe paid a courtesy visit to the National Assembly Clerk at his office in Abuja.
