The Ijaw Youth Council has declared its support for Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, ahead of the 2027 general elections. The group said Fubara has demonstrated commitment to good governance and inclusive leadership since assuming office. It warned political actors against actions capable of destabilising Rivers State, urging all stakeholders to allow the governor focus on delivering dividends of democracy to the people.
